How long does delivery take within Canada? +

Standard shipping within Canada takes 3–7 business days. Express shipping (1–3 business days) is available at checkout. All orders are fully tracked and insured.

Do you offer free shipping? +

Yes — free standard shipping on all Canadian orders over $99. Orders under $99 incur a flat rate of $9.99 for standard shipping.

Do you ship internationally? +

Yes, we ship to the United States and select international destinations. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Delivery times vary by destination (typically 7–14 business days).

Will I receive a tracking number? +

Yes — every order receives a tracking number by email as soon as it is dispatched. You can track your order at any time.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy? +

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags attached. Gift packaging does not need to be preserved.

How do I initiate a return? +

Can I exchange for a different colour or style? +

Absolutely. Exchanges are processed as quickly as possible — typically within 48 hours of receiving your return. If the item you want is out of stock, we will notify you immediately and arrange a refund.

Are sale items returnable? +

Items purchased during promotional events are eligible for exchange or store credit only, not refunds. Full-price items are fully refundable.

Authenticity & Product

How do I know my cashmere is genuine? +

Every piece from New Himalayan Pashmina House comes with a certificate of authenticity. Our cashmere is Grade A certified, sourced directly from Nepal, and passes a burn test, feel test, and visual inspection before dispatch.

What is the difference between cashmere and pashmina? +

Pashmina is the finest grade of cashmere — sourced specifically from the Chyangra mountain goat of the Himalayas. It measures 14–16 microns (versus 16–19 for regular cashmere) and is noted for its exceptional softness, lightness, and warmth.

Are your products hand-made? +

Yes. Every piece in our collection is hand-woven and hand-finished by master artisans in Nepal using traditional techniques passed down through generations.

Do you offer personalisation or monogramming? +

We are introducing personalisation services in 2026. Please contact us directly to discuss bespoke options for gifts or personal pieces.

Care & Maintenance

How should I wash my cashmere? +

Hand wash gently in cool water (30°C maximum) using a mild detergent or specialist cashmere shampoo. Never wring — gently press out water and lay flat on a clean towel to dry. See our full Care Guide for detailed instructions.

Why is my cashmere pilling? +

Light pilling in the first few washes is completely normal and actually indicates genuine, high-quality cashmere (synthetic fibres rarely pill). Pilling reduces significantly over time. Use a cashmere comb to gently remove pills.

Can I dry clean my cashmere? +

Yes, dry cleaning is safe for cashmere. However, frequent dry cleaning can accelerate wear over time. We recommend hand washing as the preferred method for regular care.

How should I store my cashmere pieces? +

Store folded (never on a hanger — hanging distorts the shape) in a breathable cotton or linen bag. Add cedar blocks or lavender sachets to deter moths. Store away from direct sunlight.

Can I modify or cancel my order? +
